ANC Timber Ltd.
2025 Herbicide Application Project
Please be advised that ANC Timber Ltd. is looking for input on their upcoming herbicide application program for 2025. ANC Timber Ltd. will be conducting both aerial and ground herbicide application programs between August 6th and September 20th, 2025. The application will treat approximately 1200 hectares of existing cutover area. The applications will be in portions of:

Both the aerial and ground herbicide applications will be done using VisionMax silviculture herbicide. The purpose of the applications is to control grass and shrub species that are limiting the survival chances of our planted seedlings on recent harvested areas. Access to all areas will be posted with signs upon completion and all applications will be done in accordance with Alberta Agriculture and Forestry regulations and the Environmental Code of Practice for Pesticides.
