Council Highlights – Tuesday, November 14

• Council received an informative presentation from the Fire Department in regards to the potentially new Guide Light Program. This program will aid the elderly and the families caring for sick family members if and when an emergency arises.
• Council approved the first Downtown Beautification Grant Application, and will be matching the business up to $5,000.00 for upgrades and beautification of the building.
• Council approved the holiday hours for the Town Administration Office. The Office will be closed, Monday, December 25 – Wednesday, December 27. Will reopen December 28th and 29th, and closed for News Years Day (January 1, 2018).
• The Town will be advertising and donating (200-250) community hall chairs to local not for profit charities. If you are a part of a not for profit community group that might be interested, please contact the Town Office.
• Town Administration will be putting together a beautiful display of Christmas Lights at Oasis Park – to top it off we will be creating an outdoor skating rink at Oasis Park. Please stay tuned to our social media pages for updates.
