Council has motioned to extend the Property Tax due date from its original June 30th date to September 30th, 2020. The extension will hopefully provide some financial relief to the businesses and residents of the community by way of cashflow flexibility during this trying time. People can expect the notices to still go out on their normal schedule and should keep in mind that penalties will be applied to outstanding balances beginning October 1st, 2020.

With Administration having requested the public refrain from attending Council meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic, the community can now look forward to a live broadcasting of future Council meetings, beginning with the May 4th Regular Meeting. People will have the option of finding the links to the video meeting on our website, social media, or requesting a link be sent directly to you email by emailing ea@foxcreek.ca. Administration requests that people have patience with us while we iron out any wrinkles that may arise.

Council has directed Administration to move forward with a Request for Proposal for the repaving of Kaybob Drive. Repaving would consist of the length of road between the Petro Canada and 8 Street by the School. However, Administration will be requesting additional quotes to include further past 8 Street, an area by the Multiplex for a courtyard, and the 22-lot subdivision.
