The Permit and Licensing Process Made Easy

The Town is now a new member of BizPal, an innovative online service that simplifies the business permit and licensing process.

Finding out which government requirements apply to a certain business type can be time consuming and frustrating. BizPaL was created to help identify what you may require, quickly and easily. The information you need is available from a single source; entrepreneurs spend less time dealing with red tape – saving effort and money in the process – and more time building their business.

The service is the result of combined efforts by the federal, provincial/territorial and participating municipal governments and is designed with the following benefits in mind:

It’s free to use
It saves time
It’s available 24/7

We are a Grande Prairie based business that do a lot of third-party work in Foxcreek Holly mats with super b’s loaders track hoes with tandem low beds.
I believe we need a annual park permit and tac permit, Annual dimensional? is over weight covered when you call in for a single trip provincial permit? We also have the related provincial permits.

I am looking for guidance on applying for a Fleet TAC permit for our Tri Drive tractors and our whole fleet of trailers.
Also, annual Over-Dimensional, Over-Weight (unless connected to our AB permit already) and finally a TDG permit (per unit or fleet)
We haul oilfield equipment in to and out of businesses in Fox Creek as well as through town on the Isogun Road for our customers. These loads range from regular legal tri-axle hiway loads up to over-dimensionals like frac coils and camp shacks.
Full fleet yearly permits would be awesome as we have 30 power units and usually get called on short notice to haul and quite often, middle of the night. We would like to be prepared for the call and to be legal in doing so.

    Thank you, regards

This is the email that goes to our Bylaw Officer as well as a person in the office who also takes care of permits alongside the Bylaw Officer. We will forward your initial request along so they have a heads up!
