Swim for Life® is a comprehensive swim instruction program that focuses on the acquisition and development of fundamental swim strokes and skills for learners of all ages and abilities. Swim for Life® is accessible, flexible, success-oriented and fun. Instructors ensure swimmers get lots of in-water practice in every lesson. Swim for Life® flows seamlessly into the Canadian Swim Patrol program and then into the Society’s lifesaving training awards. Swim for Life Screening Chart

The Preschool Program works to ensure children become comfortable in the water and have fun developing a foundation of water skills.
This program requires parents or caregivers to be in the water, within arm’s reach of the child at all times in Preschool levels 1 & 2. Preschool levels 3, 4 and 5 do not require a parent in the water however, parents are still welcome to accompany their child if they wish.
- Recommended ages: 3-5 years old

The Swimmer Program uses in-water practice for swimmers of any ability to develop swimming strokes and skills.
Children can enter Swimmer program once 6 years of age. There are six levels in the Swimmer program, beginning with Swimmer 1

- Next Steps: Canadian Swim Patrol (Rookie, Ranger, Star), Junior Lifeguard Club, or Bronze Star/Medallion.

Join the Fox Creek Hotshots Junior Lifeguard Club!
Junior Lifeguard Club (JLC) program is for all youth interested in being active and enhancing their skills in a fun, high paced environment. Members work on their own personal bests in swimming, lifesaving, fitness, knowledge, leadership and teamwork.
- What will members learn?
Basic lifesaving skills, goal setting, obstacle swims, manikin tows, dives and entries, defenses and releases, swimming for survival challenges…all while having fun! - What skills do members need to join?
Minimum age is 8 years old to join JLC! ability to swim 1 lap of the pool and tread water are also great skills to have coming into this program! - How is JLC different from swimming lessons?
JLC can be taken exclusively, or in combination with regular swimming lessons.
Junior Lifeguard Club is an excellent program those looking to improve overall swimming, learn valuable lifesaving skills, and prepare candidates for Bronze Medallion!
Lessons are $30 + GST for a half hour, $45 + GST for a full hour, and increase at a rate of $10 + GST per additional person in the lesson.
For children, we ask that they are within 1 level of each other for optimal success.

Come give our Aquasize class a try! This low to moderate intensity class is low impact and great for all abilities! Class will either be shallow water or deep water. Belts are provided for the deep water option.

This Walk & Jog program is self-paced and self-guided! We provide you with the exercises, and you are free to do them at your own pace! Walk & Jog takes place in the lane pool.
