Community Adult Learning Program

The Community Adult Learning Program (CALP) funds are allocated by Advanced Education to support the unique and complex needs of adult learners in our community.

One in five adult Albertans face daily literacy and numeracy challenges, creating significant social and economic barriers for these individuals. To empower learners in Fox Creek, our CALP program offers foundational learning opportunities in these priority areas:

  • Adult Literacy
  • Numeracy
  • Basic Digital Skills
  • Skills for Learning
  • English Language Learning

Individuals can access these services through one-on-one tutoring, group courses, family-based learning opportunities, and now through online classes. For those who require additional supports to access services, such as subsidies or transportation, please call to inquire. These supports can make the world of difference by increasing employment opportunities, improving confidence, and enhancing quality of life.
