Your organization’s interest in providing a service, hosting an event, or constructing a facility that benefits our community is appreciated. Thank you.

Our governing agencies, municipal financial reporting responsibilities, and best practice guidelines determine the terms, conditions, and information we require from your organization in order to process your request for grant funding.

This application has 5 parts; in summary, they require:

  • Organization information, Alberta Registry information, Incorporation date;
  • Board Member names, President and application contact information, the Board’s motion to apply for funding;
  • Statements of your project’s tangible goals and viable outcomes;
  • Comprehensive financial disclosure (financial statements, bank statements, your expense and budget estimates as applicable);
  • Lastly, a declaration that the information provided is accurate and complete.

We recommend having this information at your fingertips prior to beginning the online application process.

Let’s begin.

The Town of Fox Creek (the Town) shall consider requests for funding in accordance with Policy No. PO51-2014, given that:
  • Applications for funding shall be received by September 30 to be considered as eligible to receive funds from the annual budget account in the following year. Successful application fund requests are payable on July 1.
  • Applications are received in writing, including verification that the request has been made by virtue of a motion duly passed at a general or board meeting of the organization;
  • If the group is a corporation the application should also note the incorporation number on the request;
  • The organizations granted funding agree to provide the Town, upon request, copies of receipts verifying the use of the funds and, where funds are to be used for more than one purpose the organization must agree to provide the Town with a financial statement within sixty (60) days of the conclusion of the organization’s fiscal year;
  • Funding must be used specifically for the project or purposes for which they were applied.
