Today begins Public Works Week for 2020! This week will be dedicated to those who look after our local health and safety by taking care of our community’s infrastructure, facilities and services. Look forward to getting to know a little more about what all our local Public Works department does for our community over the next few days! A “Spot the Truck” contest will also be starting this TUESDAY! All you have to do is get a picture of the big red Town truck while it’s out doing Bulky Item Pickups and email it to ea@foxcreek.ca! All those who participate will be entered into a draw to win 1 month of free Town Utilities!

Today kicks off Bulky Item Pickup! In honour of it and Public Works Week, the Town would like to offer you an opportunity to win a month of FREE Town Utilities, up to $100!
Be entered to win in 2 easy steps:
1. Take a picture of the big red Town truck while out and about in town between today and Friday May 22nd.
2. Email it to ea@foxcreek.ca by 11:59PM, May 22nd. Make sure to include your name and address.

Public Works team member Linda works very hard every summer to make sure that the many flower baskets and gardens look amazing for the community.
Here are just a few ways you can also help make the community look beautiful, while also being safe from COVID-19:
- Pickup litter. Make sure you wear gloves or use the appropriate tools.
- Plant a garden in your yard!
- Recycle!
- Get creative. Chalk up your sidewalk.
