Land Use Bylaw Amendment 824-2018-A08

Public Hearing Notice – Land Use Bylaw Amendments

A Public Hearing has been scheduled to review proposed amendments before the second reading of Land Use Bylaw No. 824-2019-A08

Pursuant to Section 606 of the Municipal Government Act, being Chapter M-26 of the Statutes of Alberta, notice is hereby given that the Town of Fox Creek will hold a Public Hearing before second reading of Land Use Bylaw No. 824-2019-A08.

Proposed Amendments to Bylaw No. 824-2019-A08 include:

• Rezoning – rezone Lot 12, Block 44, Plan 132-3938 from C1 Neighbourhood Convenience Commercial to M1 – Light Industrial.

AND

• Definition Update – Amend the Definition of Home Occupation Minor – Remove “no clients shall access the business at its location” and add “Home Occupation, Minor includes day homes, hairdressers, accountants, cosmetic sales, seamstresses and other similar uses” to bring the definition in alignment with the description of Home Occupation Minor section 10.10.2 i.

A copy of the proposed amended Bylaw can be viewed at the Town of Fox Creek Administration Office during business hours.

The Town of Fox Creek Council has given first reading to Bylaw No. 824-2019-A08 and will hold a public hearing as follows:

Monday, August 11, 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Town of Fox Creek Administration Building, Council Chambers, 102 Kaybob Drive, Fox Creek, AB

Deadlines – Please forward written submissions, or register to participate electronically on or before August 6, 2025 at 12:00 pm.
