Council proclaimed April 7, 2019, as “Green Shirt Day” for the Town of Fox Creek to raise awareness for Organ Donation and Registration in honour of Logan Boulet and the Humboldt Broncos.
Director of Community Services shared with Council that the Community Resource Center is working on getting Youth Council up and running again. The CRC will be working with the School to present different options to get Youth involved in this great initiative.
Acting Directors of Recreation, shared with Council that the numbers for the Multi-Use Facility increased this month and that over 6000 people used the facility over the month of March. Numbers for the fitness center have also increased.
Administration continues to work on finalizing details for the Municipal Census that will be occurring in June and informed Council that all members of the community would receive a mail out with a personalized pin number with which to complete the census online.
