Occupational Health and Safety has placed a Stop Work Order on the Derald Palmer Arena due to the presence of material containing asbestos in the Zamboni Room.
The order states that the Town is required to safely remove the material and seal the cinder block from where it came.
Many people are working together to have this situation rectified before the major events scheduled this weekend.
We will continue to keep residents informed about our progress.
The work order is posted on the window at the Arena; a copy is also available at the Town Office.
